Enchanting beauty: The story behind Lucienne

THE INSPIRATION, DESIGN PROCESS TO FINAL PRODUCT

Inspired by love and Parisian jardin de fleurs, this piece came about. I wanted something that would look timeless but edgy, unique and romantic in theme. This enchanted pair of earrings in pretty reds, pinks and greens features a romantic spring inspired Parisian gardens. It is made of polymer clay using a needling technique where each tiny pieces of clay are carefully placed on the design that takes hours to work on. When it’s done, it goes through a process of curing using heat then coated with resin giving it a beautiful glossy finish to the final product and extra durability.

The clay is then secured on an intricate gold plated base using a glue. Clusters of pink and green crystal beads were then added to the design and attached on a gold plated heart hook findings to complete the final piece.

BEAUTY IN HER OWN WAY

What sets Lucienne apart is the boldness in the colour palette and the symphony of all the different elements used not only polymer clay. Unlike other clay earrings in the market, this pair of earrings doesn’t feel like it’s entirely made of just clay. Which is more of my style. The intricate details on the design really shows the artistry and craftsmanship behind it. It’s like wearing an artistic painting on my ear. On the colour palette and design, I chose red as a primary colour because it represents strength, power and fierceness and the flowers I sculpted represents grace, beauty and femininity.
They say wearing a piece of jewelry is a form of self expression and that’s what makes you feel good. This pair of statement earring is definitely all that!

DEBUT

It has been awhile since the last time I posted. We welcomed our son, William in June 24th, 2022. A lot has happened since then. Now that we’re a family of four, life has gotten busier more than ever. It can be a little chaotic and crazy at times but life is great overall. I wouldn’t trade it for the world! ❤️

Although things are a little slow for now, I’m glad to be back on a more established routine with the little one.

For all the mommas out there trying to balance your small biz and family life, I see you. It is hard and you are not alone. ❤️ No matter where you at in this journey, always remember that you got this and just keep going. You are doing great!
