The generosity has been incredible. We have some amazing wig donations on their way, and because of your kindness, we’re going to be able to help so many more children and young adults on our waiting list.

When people come together like this, beautiful things happen. Instead of wigs sitting in cupboards or being thrown away, they’re going to restore confidence, bring smiles, and remind a child that they’re not alone.

We have had a big Hair donation delivery all this week. I just wanna say thank you to everyone around the world who have sent the donations of Hair to us a little lots of hope. We’ve got plenty now to get through.

🌈 VOLUNTEERS WANTED ~ HELP US CREATE LITTLE PACKAGES OF HOPE 🌈

Little Locks of Hope would love to hear from kind-hearted volunteers who may like to help us create special care packages for children experiencing hair loss. ❤️

Hair loss doesn’t only affect children at Christmas, which is why we would love these packages to be available throughout the whole yeaR whenever a child may need a little extra comfort, confidence and kindness.

You could create a complete care package, donate a few new items, make something by hand, or help us collect and prepare the packages. Every contribution, however small, could help us make a child feel remembered and special. 🎁

Ideas could include:

✨ A soft beanie, sun hat or headband
✨ A cosy pair of socks
✨ A small teddy or comfort toy
✨ Colouring books, pencils or craft activities
✨ A journal, notebook or positive affirmation cards
✨ Stickers, puzzles or small age-appropriate games
✨ A little pamper item suitable for children
✨ A handmade card with a kind, uplifting message
✨ A “Brave, Beautiful & Strong” keepsake
✨ A small hair accessory for children who still have some hair or are receiving a wig

We would ask that all donated items are brand new, unused and suitable for children. We hope to create packages for different ages, so items for younger children, older children and teenagers would all be appreciated.

Most importantly, these packages are not about haiR they are about reminding every child:

“You are so much more than your hair. You are loved, you are strong, and you are never alone.” 💛

As many of you know, I founded Little Locks of HopE a children’s hair loss charity creating handmade wigs for children at absolutely no cost to families. 💛

But behind the scenes, I have been working so hard on something really exciting.

We are applying to the Charity Commission to expand Little Locks of Hope so that alongside the wigs we create, we can offer therapy and whole-family support for those going through the heartbreak of childhood hair loss. 💜

We are so incredibly grateful to one of our wonderful local supporterS Gillingham Golf CluB who will be helping make our Charity Commission application possible later this year. 🏌️‍♂️💛 This community is everything to us. 🙏

Little Locks of Hope is not just a charity. It is the heart of our soul. And right now, we are working harder than ever behind the scenes to make it something even bigger and more powerful than it already is.

Here’s what we are building… 🌱

✂️ We will continue creating beautiful handmade wigs for children experiencing hair loss, that will NEVER change.

💜 BUT ~ we are currently working with the Charity Commission to officially expand, so that we can:

The Charity Commission application comes with a cost we simply don’t have the funds to cover yet. And the sooner we get it submitted and approved, the sooner more families get the life-changing support they need. 🙏

We have been working so incredibly hard behind the scenes. This is huge. And we cannot do it without our amazing community behind us.
