The ISPC (International Society of Perfumer Creators) has posthumously awarded her the Mouillette d’Argent, recognizing an impact that remains deeply embedded in the craft. This distinction carries particular meaning. It is awarded by perfumers themselves, those who work daily with natural ingredients and understand the difference that quality, integrity and origin can make.
 
Through LMR Naturals by IFF, Monique Rémy helped redefine the role of naturals in modern perfumery, setting new standards of purity and traceability while reshaping the way perfumers create, with greater precision, authenticity and respect for materials.
 
Her influence lives on in the way perfumers approach composition today, with a deeper awareness of sourcing, process and intention.

This award, received this week by Master Perfumer Dominique Ropion, VP Perfumer Domitille MICHALON and General Manager LMR Bertrand de Préville, reflects how widely her legacy is recognized across the perfumery community.

A month ago, our R&D Perfumer .perfumer travelled to Egypt during the Neroli harvest, on LMR’s sourcing platform built over decades with Hashem Brothers. Warmly welcomed by Amr Hashem, she stepped into the fields as the flowers were carefully picked, capturing their fleeting, radiant intensity.

Being there close to the field, the people, and the ingredient is where creation begins. A moment that feeds the imagination, sharpens the olfactory gesture, and deepens the relationship with our Neroli.
