Every second Saturday of the month, we invite you to join us for Sisterhood Prayer, a sacred time to pause, reflect, encourage one another, and seek God’s guidance together.

In every season of life, prayer reminds us that we are never alone. It strengthens our faith, deepens our relationships, and creates space for hope, healing, wisdom, and peace. Whether you’re celebrating a victory, navigating uncertainty, or simply seeking a moment of stillness, know that there is a place for you in this circle.

The Oklahoma Chapter of K.K.I.N.S.O. is proud to launch our Fill the Future Back-to-School Supply Drive!

From August 5–24, we’re collecting new school supplies and monetary donations to help local students start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

America is a tapestry that is stitched with many hands, many tongues, many traditions, and many truths. From different cultures, dialects, histories, and homelands, a nation has taken shape with an identity all its own.

Yet, as we celebrate independence, we also honor the complexity of our history. Freedom has not always arrived equally, nor has justice always moved swiftly. Still, generation after generation, communities have labored, lifted their voices, and served with purpose to help this country become more reflective of the ideals it proclaims.

Today, we celebrate not only the birth of a nation, but the ongoing work of building one. May we continue to honor our differences, protect our shared humanity, and serve toward a future where liberty is not just promised, but fully lived.

Today, we honor the fathers, father figures, mentors, coaches, grandfathers, uncles, and men who lead with strength, wisdom, compassion, and unwavering support.

Your guidance shapes families, communities, and future generations in ways that often go unseen but are deeply felt. Thank you for every lesson taught, every sacrifice made, every prayer spoken, and every act of love that continues to leave a lasting impact.

We also hold space today for those missing their fathers, grieving a loss, navigating complicated relationships, longing to become fathers, or finding today especially difficult. We see you, and we send you love.

CONGRATULATIONS SISTER ZAYNAB POWELL ‼️🎓

On May 15th, Sister Zaynab graduated from Delaware State University with a Bachelors of Science, concentration in Psychology. She plans to expand her knowledge in Applied Behavioral Analysis while continuing her work with children on the spectrum.

Sister Zaynab says that the sisterhood of K.K.I.N.S.O. means being apart of something bigger than herself. Through her experience she says it has been filled with lessons and growth that she will carry beyond college.

CONGRATULATIONS SISTER AMINATA JALLOH ‼️🎓

On May 16th Sister Aminata graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelors of Science, concentration in Public Relations. Over the course of her tenure at KU, she has been instrumental in the development of campus life. She held roles in various organizations, including and not limited to:

Co-Producer of the Moments Create Movements Showcase,
Co-Chair of the Diversity Council,
President of the Kutztown Chapter of KKINSO,
Vice-President of Pen2Paper Poetry Club, and
Desk Receptionist for Residence Life, Housing, & Dining.

Aminata plans on focusing on her creative endeavors before pursuing graduate school.

June, our month of reflection, organization and refocus! Here are the observances and national holidays this month ❤️

Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication will never be forgotten.

As we gather with family and community, may we also reflect on the true meaning of this day and remember those whose legacy lives on through our freedom.

Today, on World Lupus Day, we stand in support of the millions of individuals worldwide courageously battling lupus every single day. 💜

Lupus may be invisible to many, but the strength, resilience, and perseverance of those living with it are undeniable. KKINSO honors every warrior navigating the physical, emotional, and mental challenges that come with this disease while continuing to show up for themselves, their families, and their communities.

We also recognize the caregivers, advocates, medical professionals, and loved ones who provide support and raise awareness year-round. Education, compassion, research, and early diagnosis remain vital in the fight against lupus.

Today and every day, we choose awareness, advocacy, and support. 💜
