Day 68/100:

12/06/2026

What’s one thing you wish someone had told you before you hit your 40s?👇(mine’s in the comments 🤣)

Day 65/100: YOLO✈️ & don’t ask me twice.

Day 65/100: the journey HERE was rough, not gonna lie… but I sure sold a lot of makeup back then. 🤣 What changed? ⬇️

Well, I found a routine that worked for me. That’s it. At nearly 40 I had never found anything to cure my adult breakouts - and I’d tried them all. Proactiv. ACV. Medical grade. Prescription topicals. The only thing I didn’t do was Accutane, because I never had FULL coverage acne but the amount of chronic small breakouts (and subsequent picking, ) left me riddled with scarred, uneven skin.

When I tell you I wouldn’t get the mail for 30 years bare-faced, that’s not a stretch.

Fast forward to age 45, when I feel more confident than ever. I don’t even bother looking in the mirror when I wake up because the result is always the same. Clear complexion, not a blemish in sight, and honestly no anxiety about being in the menopause era whilst battling teenage problems. Fine lines and acne are simply an unfair combo that no one should have to manage. 🤣

If you feel like you’re fighting a battle against your skin - I can assure you I get it. The internet is a wild place where we don’t know what’s real anymore, but as evidenced here, I’m for sure a real one and you can trust my recs. If I wouldn’t stand by it, I wouldn’t share it. The end.

If you’re still reading and want to know more, comment CHANGE and I’ll shoot you a message.

Day 64/100: hands-down, the #1 product that’s made my life easier.
No multitude of skin prep needed, no layers of makeup following it.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve noticed heavy foundation tends to settle into fine lines, emphasize texture, and just look… makeup-y. Especially when it’s hot outside.🔥

This gives me enough coverage to even out redness and discoloration without feeling heavy or looking cakey.

Why I keep reaching for it:
✔️ Hydrates
✔️ mineral SPF 30
✔️ Blurs redness and uneven tone
✔️ Feels lightweight in heat and humidity
✔️ Gives that healthy skin look instead of a full-coverage mask

At this stage of life, I’m less interested in covering my skin and more interested in making it look healthy. This is one of those products that helps me do exactly that.

Day 63/100: remembering that the days aren’t even long anymore… the years are even shorter... and teenagers don’t keep. 🥹

Last summer I mentioned I was putting down the phone for the few weeks that summer actually lasts. Not really - I mean I’m still recording things (as evidenced here) - but in terms of “filming content” and being on my phone scrolling around the family while everyone is home. It’s just like.. FOR WHAT EVEN? Social media has this weird toxic thing going on where we all feel like we have to continuously keep up. I hate that.

I hate feeling like if I don’t post, “I won’t grow” or I’ll lose the few of you who actually engage with my posts (ilysm 🥰). Again… FOR WHAT??

I truly hope that you don’t think it’s weird when I’m radio silent here and there. I hope you stick with me if these final 37 days take 60 to post. 🤣 I’m just desperately trying to live presently and not EVER be the person who is in the company of others and is staring at her phone. I want to soak in every single second of this life while it lasts, and I implore you to do the same!
