My birthday photoshoot is the most artistic I’ve been in a long time. Sixteen hours on set creating something you have not seen from anybody else.
I styled every look myself. I shopped thrift stores, consignment shops, African vendors, and local jewelry makers. I studied different eras of fashion, then filtered it all through my Virgo mind.
This is a celebration of Black art, Black fashion, and my imagination.
