🌺 Fenua Ola at the Pasifika Festival Auckland! 🌺
What an amazing day for Fenua Ola at the Pasifika Festival in Auckland today (14 March 2026)! This iconic festival — the largest Pacific cultural celebration in New Zealand — draws over 200,000 visitors every year, and we were proud to be part of it.
A huge Fakafetai lasi to co-founder of Miss Tuvalu New Zealand, Salota Telematua, who graciously organised, prepared, and hosted our beautiful Fenua Ola display table. Thanks to her warm hospitality, countless visitors stopped by to test our products, learn about Fenua Ola, connect with Tuvalu, and show their support.
✨ The response was incredible!
People loved the products — and many were impressed enough to place pre orders ahead of our official New Zealand launch.
We also felt the strong presence of the Tuvaluan community in Aotearoa, including wonderful support from former Miss Tuvalu New Zealand, Mikara Hendry. The Tuvaluan NZ diaspora truly showed up for us today!
We are excited and humbled, and we can't wait to begin sales in New Zealand in May 2026.

We hosted the Vaitupu Kaupule!! Shared our Knowledge!
Today we had the honour of hosting the leaders of the Vaitupu Kaupule at our factory facility.
We walked through our entire process for producing extra-virgin coconut oil and fetau (tamanu) oil—from hygiene standards to the custom-built furniture we use, like our fermentation chamber and solar box. We showed the small pieces of equipment we use in the bottling and labelling process.
The biggest takeaway? You don’t need a massive factory to run a successful island enterprise. 💡✨
We encouraged Vaitupu to pursue their vision for economic development. We urged them to share their vision, plans and journey and to seek collaborations with the other islands through forums like the Tuvalu Coconut Enterprise Association.
Our heartfelt belief remains: if the group of eight islands of Tuvalu work together, we can take on the world! 🌏💙

Wheww… What a Week!! 🙌🔥
This week has been nothing short of incredible for our team!
✨ Monday: We kicked things off with our largest sale yet — 120 units supplied to the Department of Foreign Affairs. Thank you for the trust!
✨ Tuesday: Another big achievement — 50+ units delivered to the Taiwan Embassy. Kudos to our friends at the embassy!
✨ Wednesday: Tuvalu welcomed the Taiwan Foreign Affairs Minister — a high level event here in Funafuti and an honour to witness.
✨ Thursday: We kicked off a two day induction workshop for our new hires. Welcome to the team — let’s do great things together!
✨ Friday: We wrapped up our induction workshop with an inspiring session on selling Fenua Ola products. Huge thank you to Kristina Hermens for leading today’s presentation!
The Friday energy is definitely strong today. 💪🌺

This week, on Wednesday and Thursday (11–12 February), we had the pleasure of hosting a large and enthusiastic group made up of:
✅ Outer island and head office staff from the Department of Agriculture
✅ Live & Learn staff based in Funafuti and the outer islands
✅ Representatives from local farmers associations
Together, we spent time showcasing and providing hands-on training in the production of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) and Fetau Oil.
Our goal? To spread practical knowledge and build capacity so that every island in Tuvalu can confidently produce high quality, export-ready oils.
We’re excited about the momentum building across the country. With everyone working together, we aim to see Tuvalu enter the export market for fetau oil and virgin coconut oil by the end of 2026!

We’re looking for a responsible and articulate individual to lead production processes and staff at our oil-making facility.

3) Sales Associate
We need a committed and engaging team member to drive sales of Fenua Ola products at the Funafuti International Airport outlet.
• Part-time | AUD $6.75 per hour

4) Production Operators
We’re seeking reliable individuals to prepare and process raw materials into oils, including operating small equipment (e.g., electric graters). Women are strongly encouraged to apply!

This marks a first step into the world of cosmetic science! Our participants are beginners in the field, but they carry with them a deep love for beauty, self-care, cultural expression, and product innovation.
Over the coming week, our team will: Build industry knowledge; Gain skills in product formulation and design; Discover the science behind creating new beauty and skincare products; Build meaningful international networks with industry experts and fellow learners; Bring home knowledge to help shape future industries and opportunities in Tuvalu.

As we reflect on 2025, I’m proud to highlight the achievements of Stacey Fraser, the cosmetic designer behind Fenua Ola’s product line and a driving force in our brand’s early success.
Since the launch of Fenua Ola on 02 October 2025, has been recognised across the Asia Pacific region for her contributions to sustainable beauty and innovative product design.
• November 2025: Stacey was named one of the 9 Faces of the Asia Pacific Beauty Industry, highlighting her pioneering approach to blending sustainability, science, and creativity.
• December 2025: She was recognised on the Covalo Blog as one of the Top Influential Voices of the Beauty Industry, acknowledging her leadership in ethical sourcing, eco conscious practices, and transparent innovation.
Our Tuvalu community gave heartfelt blessings to Stacey Fraser as she was under consideration for the November award. Fenua Ola has proudly nominated Stacey for both of these honours, and we are grateful for the visibility she has given our brand and work through her acceptance speeches. Big news ..... We are in Funafuti International Airport!
On Christmas Day, we proudly opened a brand-new retail outlet inside the terminal building at Funafuti Airport!
The airport outlet will be open on flight days, during the hours leading up to departure. Now travelers can collect those unique made in Tuvalu products — right before take-off.
This new location adds to our existing outlet at the TPCC (Convention Centre) in Funafuti — bringing Fenua Ola even closer to the diaspora and community.
