I was not born with a disability. I was born with vision, purpose, and big dreams.

On 14 November 2015, my life changed when I was involved in an accident. Many people thought my dreams would end there, but I refused to let my circumstances define my future.

In 2019, INUKA found me behind closed doors. I was not ready to face the world. I couldn’t even look at myself in the mirror or take a photo of myself. My confidence was gone, and I felt disconnected from the person I used to be.

For me, the INUKA business is more than just a business opportunity. It became my therapy, my healing journey, and a source of hope.

When I attended my first INUKA event at GrandWest in Cape Town in 2019, I was hiding from people who knew me before the accident. I even hid my crutches whenever photos were taken because I was ashamed and afraid of how people would see me.

Those words changed my perspective forever.

Today, I proudly stand as proof that disability is not inability. I am a mother, a businesswoman, an entrepreneur, an international traveller through INUKA, and a woman who chose not to give up on her dreams.

My journey reminds me every day that life can change in a minute—but so can your mindset, your confidence, and your future.
