Why does bruising happen? 👄

Cosmetic treatments often involve the use of fine needles to place product underneath the skin, where small blood vessels live.
Our faces are highly vascular meaning even the smallest of blood vessels can result in bruising.

How to reduce the risk or bruising?

🤍 Avoid alcohol prior to treatment and 24 hours after treatment
🤍 Avoid blood thinning medications 48 hours prior to treatment (if safe to do so)
🤍 Apply a cold compress (10-15 intervals) 24 hours after treatment
🤍 Avoid strenuous exercise and saunas for 24 hours after treatment
