Starting off as an eager apprentice Jaimi won the overall apprentice/student award for the HBIA (Hair & Beauty Industry Association) She was also nominated for Australian apprentice of the year 2008. In 2012 Jaimi headed to London where she worked as a hair & make up artist in many of London's 5 star hotels & Residences. Upon her return she managed a highly reputable salon in South Yarra specialising in hair extensions. Following my TikTok last week talking about how unnecessary 200grams is for fine hair girls I wanted to share an example-
This client came in last week, she has medium density hair and texture. We used 100 grams spread across 3 rows (the 3rd is a mini nape row)
We then added 1 tape on each side at the front to fill in her face framing.
So a total of 110grams.
If you evenly distribute weight it goes soo much further and looks way more natural! And guaranteed to be more comfortable for your client!
