Some treatments we do just require a little extra downtime than others. We open later on Fridays and Saturdays to provide as much downtime as possible before the new week begins.
Some examples of downtime (but degree will vary for every treatment and every individual):
- Bruising
- Swelling
- Tenderness
- Redness
- Flaking
- Inability to wear makeup
We will discuss the ‘downtime’ window recommended at each appointment to ensure you have enough time to prepare.

Meet Claire, our Advanced Dermal Therapist!

We’re thrilled to welcome Claire to the Smirk team. Claire and Nicola worked together around 5-6 years ago, and we’re so happy to have her back in the fold.

Claire is an Advanced Dermal Therapist with 7 years of experience and advanced laser qualifications. She’s known for being incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely kind with every client who sits in her chair.

You’ll find Claire at our Baldivis clinic on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Book in and see the difference for yourself ♥️
