This beautiful client came to me today after having her colour done elsewhere… and I was honestly shocked.

Not only was her colour severely compromised, but she had visible chemical burns on her scalp. This isn’t just a “bad colour” — this is damage that should never happen in the hands of a qualified professional.

I’ve spent hours carefully correcting this, protecting the integrity of her hair, and working around a very sensitive, irritated scalp. This is what proper training, experience, and professional products are for.

I completely understand that everyone is looking to save money right now — but this is exactly why I always say:

Hair is not the place to cut corners.

What’s even more disappointing is that the “senior stylist” responsible has refused a refund and has been sending my client unprofessional messages, even claiming her hair looks “no different” after correction.

As professionals, we have a responsibility — not just to create beautiful hair, but to protect our clients.
