Pics 1 and 3 are after blasting dry, 2 and 4 after wetting it back down and drying naturally with a bit of curl control, pic 5 was the before.
We need more length through the top to get the end result we’re after, but in the meantime, we at least have a more flattering style and have discovered the natural curl in the hair! ❤️

Afters and before… this was fun. This lovely lady hasn’t had a cut in a while and wanted a great, shaggy, textured cut with a big fringe! Safe to say she was VERY happy!

Afters, first 2 blasted dry, last two after round brush dry… so sad I forgot the before, was an awesome transformation!

This lovely lady comes to see me from Bairnsdale, books her cut as soon as she knows when she’ll be in town!
This hair is VERY thick and heavy, she used to just wear it up all the time. Last time she came in, we added some layering throughout (and discovered she has curls!) and put in some channeling and she absolutely LOVED it! She now wears her hair out most of the time and is sometimes wearing it curly and sometimes blow drying it!
Channeling is a great option for people with tons of heavy hair who would like to thin it out without ending up with thick roots fuzzy, wispy ends. We do very fine lines underneath where we shave that line. Sounds scary, but you can’t see them even when you separate the hair and it get rid of some of the bulk to make it much more manageable!

I’ll be spending the coming week with my kids for school holidays, enjoying our spectacularly beautiful little town, but will be back in salon the following week!

First pic is after blast drying, 2 and 3 are a bit polished (round brush), 4 is the before. It’s going to be a little while before we can get this one exactly where she’d like it to be, we knew that before we started. Some areas have been cut too short and others left too long. The long bits I can sort out straight away, the short ones we need patience! So while she’s feeling much better with the cut, I can’t wait for the next one! I predict the perfect finish will be the third…

Afters and before… this lovely lady wanted a more solid finish, changing the line of the cut from angled slightly back to slightly forward also results in a more flattering style.

A lovely, solid, slightly concave bob. Simple, easy to tie back but short and neat!
