QUEENSLAND CHIEF HEALTH OFFICER'S DIRECTION.

Queensland's Chief Health Officer has issued a public health direction. This takes effect as of now and will be enforced by Qld Police who will be able to issue on the spot fines of around $1300.

Queenslanders must not leave their homes except to:

🥫🍞🥙to obtain food or other essential goods or services;
👩‍⚕️👩‍🔬to obtain medical treatment or other health care services;
🚶‍♂️🏃‍♀️to engage in physical exercise, either alone or with 1 other (family units excepted);
👨‍🚒👷‍♀️to perform work on behalf of an employer that is engaged in an essential business, activity or undertaking;
😷🛌✝️to visit a terminally ill relative or to attend a funeral;
🤒👵to provide assistance, care or support to an immediate member of the person’s family;
🏛⚖️to attend Court or to comply with orders of the Court; or
👶📖to attend a childcare facility or school where care or instruction cannot happen at home.
