Brows are one of the most influential features on the face.

And that’s why brow shape matters so much..

Changing the shape of a brow can completely change the way the face is perceived.

The thickness, arch placement, tail direction, length and overall structure all contribute to the balance of the face. A small change in one area can make the brow appear more lifted, elongated, softened, heavier, more structured and even less structured.

It’s not about following a universal brow formula or recreating the same shape on every client. It’s about assessing the individual face and deciding where the brow should start, where the arch should sit, how far the tail should extend and how much fullness should be retained.

Some of the brow shapes in this carousel are intentionally exaggerated and some definitely aren’t the most flattering choice for this particular face.

That’s the point.

As brow artists, we need to be able to look beyond the brow itself and understand how the shape interacts with the face.

Good brow design is about mapping with intention and creating a shape that suits the person in front of you 🤎

You can learn from someone without diminishing what you already know.
You can celebrate someone else’s success without making your own smaller.

So this is your reminder to hype the girl beside you, share her work, celebrate her wins and never underestimate the impact a little support can have 🫶🏼
