Since commencing work as a young apprentice within the beauty industry over 30 years ago, Steph has always believed that beauty products could and should, be personalised to suit the needs of the individual. It has taken 30 years for technology & the market to catch up with Steph’s vision. Rewind 30 years to when Steph was stocking beauty products onto shelves. She realised that there was a void in personalised products and, in order for individuals to maintain the power of diversity, she could see that future products needed to be designed for individuals as customised cosmetics. With the assistance of the web, individuals are more savvy and smarter. Known as the W.I.I.F.M theory – What’s In It For Me, individuals hunt for the best end products to achieve the perfect natural glow. Throughout Steph’s vision to create the perfect tan, she has also created an online algorithm with a series of questions in order for the individual to make the ‘right’ decision for his or herself. This cleverly designed online algorithm known as ‘Design Your Tan’, was created to impart industry knowledge to the individual and to provide him or her with the perfect tan. The creation for Sundance Designer Tan and the App has only been made possible through Steph’s intimate knowledge and experience within this industry. Sundance Collections PTY LTD formulates & manufactures its own products and has formulated tens of thousands of trials and challenges through Research & Development. Steph has used her extensive knowledge of colour to formulate unique, signature colours and the results are a completely natural-looking tan from the moment of application.
