17 years ago, I opened the doors to Body Beautiful Retreat with one simple goal... to create a place where people felt genuinely cared for.

This August, we celebrate 17 years.

Seventeen years of heartfelt conversations.
Seventeen years of hugs.

When I opened the salon, I never imagined just how much life would unfold alongside this business.

Over the years, I've experienced incredible joy, heartbreak, growth and change. Marriage. Divorce. Motherhood. Pregnancy loss. IVF. Navigating the challenges of business ownership. Learning that resilience isn't about doing it all, it's about continuing to show up with purpose.

Those experiences have shaped not only me, but the way we care for every client who walks through our doors.

Over the past few years, I've experienced the highest highs and some of the hardest moments of my life as a woman.

I've navigated pregnancy, the heartbreak of pregnancy loss, the hope that comes with trying again, and the incredible privilege of welcoming our beautiful daughter into the world.

Each season brought its own physical, emotional and hormonal changes.

Some days I felt strong.

Other days I barely recognised myself.
