Her lip neutralisation journey is expected to take around three sessions, and she makes the trip to see me each time. So grateful for her trust 🫶🏻

Her lips healed lighter after the first neutralisation session, so this time we added colour 💋

The colour looks quite bold immediately after treatment, but will soften as it heals, leaving a subtle tint that looks like her own natural lip colour.

Lately, conversations with artists considering further training have given me a lot to think about🤔

Some have spent time and money travelling to Sydney or Korea to learn, but still feel unsure when it comes to treating clients. In practice, you’ll meet lips like the ones in these photos and wonder where to start.

If you’re thinking about learning again, please don’t be hard on yourself. Taking that step takes courage too🤍

But not everyone needs another course!!

I believe lip neutralisation is a process that the artist and client work through together. 🤍

It’s very common for neutralisation to take 3–4 sessions, and the whole process can take 6–8 months.

The artist’s technique is important, of course, but your aftercare plays a big part in the final result too. Keeping your lips well moisturised and protected from UV exposure throughout the process can make a real difference in how the colour heals and develops.

That’s why I don’t see neutralisation as something I create on my own. iIt’s something we work on together, step by step.

For the best possible results, please stay consistent with your hydration and sun protection between sessions.
