Remedial massage will assist in improving stress related conditions, circulatory concerns, muscular aches and injuries, encourage venous and lymphatic flow, assist with repetitive strain injuries, lengthen shortened soft tissue, loosen scar tissue, improve post-operative recovery, and enhances physical and psychological relaxation.

Face masks to be worn in indoor areas in some QLD LGAs


Dear Penny

Starting from 1am AEST on Tuesday 29 June, new restrictions will be put in place in 11 Queensland local government areas (LGAs). As part of these directions, face masks will be mandatory in all indoor settings in these LGAs. The affected areas include:

Brisbane
Ipswich
Logan City
Moreton Bay
Redlands
Sunshine Coast
Noosa
Somerset
Lockyer Valley
Scenic Rim
Gold Coast
These restrictions will be in place until at least Wednesday 13 July. It is the Association's understanding that massage therapists, remedial massage therapists and myotherapists located in these LGAs are permitted to continue routine services as long as both therapists and clients wear face masks.

Massage & Myotherapy Australia will continue to monitor the situation and notify members of any additional changes to directions.
