POV: it’s school holidays, your mum owns a hair salon and you and your bestie decide your hair needs a little 🩵aura🩷
Been bloody dreaming of this space for as long as I can remember! Pinching myself that we are actually here. 🥹🤍
Not just a bigger salon, but a space that feels different. A beautiful, elevated luxury experience for our clients, and somewhere our team can feel proud to come to work, like, REALLY proud, and where they can create, learn and grow in a bigger and better way.
Getting here has definitely not been easy.
The last 12 months have been challenging. There have been delays, setbacks, changes, plenty of stress and a budget that has taken on a life of its own. 😂
I think it’s important to share that side too, because social media can make things look like they’ve all just fallen perfectly into place.
They haven’t.
We’re just real people with a big idea, backing ourselves and trying to make something pretty special happen.
And apparently the vision is still evolving right until the end. 😂 Kara Johnstone - Comfortel QLD from Comfortel Salon Furniture can verify that the changes are absolutely still happening in the background. 🙈 Just today we organised to send back all of our furniture bases and change the colours to better suit the overall palette.
Lucky my husband is so patient with me and all of my crazy ideas. 🤪
Walking through it now and seeing something I’ve imagined for years finally becoming real feels pretty special.
We’re getting there. 🥹🤍

Evolve + Elevate ✨
Last night with some of the women helping shape what’s next for Omorfia.
As we move into this next chapter, I’ve been really intentional about how we continue to elevate the experience for our clients 💆🏼♀️ not just through our new North Lakes space, but through the brands, education and luxury offerings we bring into it.
There are some very exciting conversations happening behind the scenes… and something beautiful may be coming to Omorfia very soon. 🤍

I’ve always wanted Omorfia to be more than just somewhere you come to work.
I want it to be somewhere you feel proud to be, somewhere you keep learning, keep growing and actually enjoy coming to.
The beautiful Liv in this photo has been with me for 7 years, and I think that says a lot about the kind of team and culture we’ve built.
As a mum myself, I also really value work-life balance and creating a workplace that supports women through different seasons of life. I know how important it is to be able to have a career you love without feeling like you have to choose between work and family.
We’re growing and looking for experienced stylists to join us across North Lakes + Cotton Tree.
