Our beloved team member Alex said goodbye to her big brother Julian in the early hours of Monday morning.

After a 10 month battle fighting a very aggressive form of brain cancer, Jules passed away with family by his side. Julian is a father of 2 young children, husband, son, and a very special big brother to our dear Alex.

To all of our clients who have been rescheduled over the past few months, we thank you for your patience and flexibility. This has been an incredibly difficult time in Alex’s life, and the team at TEGANMAC.SKIN have been and continue to support Alex in whatever way we can.

A special thank you to Shanae and Annalise who have been covering Alex’s clients where possible, and making the sometimes difficult phone calls to move clients. We understand being rescheduled multiple times can be frustrating, but with context I’m sure you can now understand why we’ve had to move everyone around so much recently.

This has been an unpredictable, rapid and heartbreaking time for Alex and her family.

Alex will be taking some time away to focus on healing and rebuilding. When Alex is ready to return, I’m sure you’ll be gentle and gracious with welcoming her back to the clinic.

We were very lucky to have Jules come in for a facial a few months ago. Such a special experience for Alex to showcase her skills and treat Julian to one of her incredible treatments.

🍍Enzyme Exfoliants

Enzymes work by dissolving dead skin cells on the surface of the skin without the need for scrubbing or stronger acids.

Best for:
• Sensitive skin
• Redness-prone skin
• Perioral dermatitis (avoiding flared areas)
• First-time exfoliant users

🪨Physical Scrubs

Physical exfoliants use small particles to manually remove dead skin cells from the skin’s surface. They can vary based on size of particles, pressure used when scrubbing, and how long you scrub for.

• Sensitive skin
• Rosacea
• Active acne
