I dont post much as of late. But i really love uploading more challenging pieces. And I LOVE this result. 💋 💄

My client unfortunately had a very nasty fall, and was left with some lip scarring throughout the bottom lip.
We did a huge session on them today!
Reconstruction of the edges required patience.
4x needle cartridges were blunted, cutting through it. But it was so worth every single packet! 💯

Lips will swell a little depending on the client. But all will go back to normal within hours.
The colour will soften right down.
The spicey mauve pigment mixed will give a very natural "bitten lip" result.

I have quite alot of lip tattoos this week.
And i am soooo here for it! 💯

I use organic pigments and when applied correctly and adjusted accordingly to the skin type your working on, the results are even and long lasting.

Little tip for those trying to learn organic inks that may be feeling scared.
You absolutely can modify an organic tattoo.
But you must not go straight for a low value colour.
Your modifier must be of a high value, and nothing that leans too opaque.
You want to add warmth but you dont want to accidentally make it muddy and heavier.
A high value colour will lighten and brighten, and you will avoid that oversaturated look.

Something as simple as using the right type of modifier can actually enhance your long term results and give your client the best outcome for years to come.

Inorganic inks fade out so fast. And thats great in the beginning when your learning.
I spent my formative years using inorganic and rightfully so.
But for the last 7 years I only use organic and my clients who have had both from me, much prefer their long lasting results that organic inks achieve.
