Laser hair removal works by using a concentrated beam of light placed on the skin. The laser is attracted to the melanin (pigment) in the hair, and the light energy is converted into heat and safely weakens the follicle without damaging the surrounding skin.

The follicle then detaches from the hair shaft and sheds, resulting in hair reduction over time.

Hi guys, it’s Vanessa — the founder and laser technician at Luxe Laser & Skin.

I specialise in laser hair removal, focusing on precision, safety, and consistent results. My goal is to provide a comfortable, personalised experience for every client.

Here’s what led me to where I am today.

Coming from an European background, I personally struggled with full body hair growth. I spent many appointments in traditional laser clinics with long waits in shared areas, seeing the same concerns reflected in everyone around me, and inconsistent results that left me frustrated. Which made me realise there had to be a better way.

I was inspired to create my own space, with one focus: achieving real, long-term results for every client. A place where women feel safe, comfortable, confident, and cared for during their laser hair removal treatments.

I left my nursing career to follow my passion, and for the past 4 years, I’ve been helping clients with their Laser Hair Removal journey and I’ve never looked back🤍
