A client apologised to me the other day for talking so much during her treatment, and I remember thinking… please don’t ever apologise for that 🤍
One of my favourite parts of what I do is getting to know the people who come in to see me.
Sometimes a facial is an hour of complete silence where you close your eyes, switch off and barely say a word. Other times, we start chatting and before we know it, we’ve covered work, relationships, kids, life… basically everything 😂
And I genuinely love both.
I never want anyone to come into their appointment feeling like they have to act a certain way to relax. If you’ve had a big week and need to talk, talk. If you’re exhausted and want to completely switch off, close your eyes and enjoy every minute of it.
Your appointment is your time.
I love seeing clients come back and slowly getting to know them beyond just their skin, remembering what we spoke about last time, hearing the updates and having those little conversations while I’m working.
There’s something really special about creating that kind of relationship with your clients.
So yes… facials might occasionally turn into a mini therapy session 😂 but you’ll also leave with beautiful, glowing skin.
And just to be clear talking is always optional. Silence is very welcome here too 🤍

Three years of Soak Haus 🥹🤍
I actually can’t believe I’m writing that.
Three years ago Soak Haus opened its doors as Victoria’s first Head Spa, and since then it has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.
To every single person who has booked an appointment, come back time and time again, recommended us to a friend, shared our posts, sent us a message, followed along quietly from the beginning, or even just told someone about Soak Haus — thank you.
And to all of our Soak Haus Academy students who have trusted us to teach you, support you and be a little part of your own Head Spa journey… thank you too. Watching so many of you go on to create your own beautiful businesses has been such a special part of the last few years.
Being recognised as one of Australia’s favourite Head Spa locations still feels pretty surreal.
