XERF | Advanced structural Skin Tightening

XERF is an advanced dual-frequency monopolar radiofrequency treatment designed to improve skin laxity, firmness and facial definition.

What makes XERF unique is its ability to use two different RF frequencies, allowing controlled energy delivery at different depths beneath the skin. This enables us to target multiple tissue layers and stimulate controlled thermal remodelling and collagen production.

The goal is to improve skin firmness and tightening, rather than simply reducing volume. When appropriately treated, the aim is to preserve facial fat while addressing laxity and loss of definition.

One of the major advantages of XERF is that it requires no numbing, no needles and no downtime. Patients can generally return to their normal activities immediately after treatment.

For patients with moderate to significant skin laxity, I generally recommend 2 sessions approximately 8 weeks apart. This allows us to approach the different layers of tissue progressively rather than relying on a single treatment.

The good news: it can be carefully softened with targeted volume treatment, restoring a smoother, more rested transition from lid to cheek. For some patients, this is combined with PRF injections, which help stimulate the skin’s own collagen for added support and quality over time.

The biggest concern people have? Lumps or migration. In reality, this comes down to product choice and precise dosing not the treatment itself. This is one of the most technique-sensitive areas of the face, which is why experience matters and a proper consultation is essential before any treatment plan is made.
