I first launched Elegant Edge in July 2013! In 11 years we have gone from a home salon to exclusively bridal hairstyling to building a team of incredible hair and makeup artists.

My brand values were solid and aligned back in July 2013 - even if if my graphic design wasn’t *sigh*

After 11 years of building the Elegant Edge brand, I’m most proud to say that although my graphic design skills have improved, our brand values have remain solid.

One of our core values is a luxury client experience and high-level of client support.

We value that our brides will have their vision of hair and makeup come to life on their wedding day, but we also want to ensure that they have an stress-free planning experience with us, too.

Not one where they are waiting 7 days to hear back from us.

Not one where they have to chase us up 3 times to book in for a trial.

Not one where they don’t even know if their booking isn’t confirmed and finalised YET.

Not one where they freak the f*ck out, and book another hairstylist because they can’t get in contact with us..

It is important to us as a brand, that our gorgeous brides feel insanely valued, supported, heard and understood throughout their entire experience with our brand.

From enquiry right through to years after their wedding day.

This is why when I crafted our client experience and luxury brand experience, that I took time to go into deep contemplation to get clarity on who our dream bride is, and what they desire, what they are worried about, and how can we support them best throughout their entire wedding planning journey.

This is how we stand out and lead the Perth Hair and Makeup community to new levels of client experience that goes above and beyond “just” a service.

3 things that you need to know about your stress-free wedding day schedule 👇🏼⁣

🔥 Allow 1 hour per person for hair, and 1 hour per person for makeup so that nobody has under-scheduled their time or arrives late for their bridal beauty team..⁣

This helps you to overcome running behind schedule, and I promise you that the last hour before getting in the car goes incredibly FAST.⁣
⁣
🔥 Overcome confusion on who goes when with a very simple wedding day schedule and outline. This helps to ensure that everyone knows where they need to be, when they need to be..⁣
⁣
This also means that Sally isn't rushing off to do a last minute steaming job when she should be getting her hair done to ensure that you, the bride, is not rushed or running behind schedule..⁣

🔥 Don't schedule yourself to go last, I highly recommend that you have your hair and makeup done second last..⁣
⁣
As soon as the photographers arrive, the energy starts to get spicy.. the emotions start to amplify, and if you are sitting in the chair no-where near finished, it heightens all of your feels. ⁣
⁣
Plus the photographer and videographer will typically ask for your getting ready shots and your details shots, so be ready for this upon their arrival or even better: delegate your bridal party to let them know where the details are so you don't have to.⁣
