The Alley Barber Frankston

After 7 years, I’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to close the doors of The Alley Barber.

This hasn’t been a decision I’ve made lightly. Over the past 3 years I’ve experienced some significant health challenges, including hospital admissions related to stress and my mental health. As hard as it is to admit, I’ve realised it’s time to put my health first and step away from running the business.

To every single client who has sat in my chair, supported my small business, shared a laugh, trusted me with your hair and become part of The Alley family- thank you. Your loyalty and support over the last 7 years has meant more to me than words can ever express. This little shop has given me so many friendships and memories that I’ll cherish forever.

To every member of my team, past and present, thank you. Each of you has played a part in The Alley Barber’s story, and I’m so grateful for the time, dedication, laughter and support you’ve shared along the way. We’ve celebrated wins together, worked through the busy days, and created something really special. I’ll always look back on those memories with so much appreciation.

The good news is this isn’t goodbye!

I’ll still be barbering.. 16 years in the hair industry won’t let me give up that quick 😅so you’ll still all be able to see me. I’ll be sharing all the details very soon, and I’d love nothing more than to continue looking after you all. If you’re a client of mine please follow me on Ebany Rae

This next chapter is about choosing me. For so long I’ve put everyone else first, but I’ve learnt that I can’t pour from an empty cup. As heartbreaking as this decision is, I know it’s the right one, and I’m hopeful for what’s ahead.

It’s the most wonderful (and busiest!) time of the year at The Alley Barber🎄💈

We’ll be open every day right up until Christmas Eve, wrapping up at 1pm on the 24th so we can sneak off for some festive cheer🍻

Closed: Christmas Day + Boxing Day
💈 Back in action: Saturday 27th December

Ebany will be on deck 29th & 30th December for those fresh NYE cuts before taking a well-deserved little break until 5th of Jan. The team will be holding down the fort and working as normal while she’s off!
