If you know how to service the hydraulics on these 100 year old barber chairs, please get in touch 💈✂️🙏
We are looking for somebody that specialises in these chairs. These chairs are called the “one-lever” chairs. You can supposedly pump the chairs with the lever and also lean it back with the same lever.
All parts are there and based on some comments online, the rubber needs changing and the hydraulics needs servicing.
Comment down below how much you would charge for each or send us a DM 💈

* Leo J. Wahl invented the first electric hair clipper in 1919, which meant barbers could finally move away from fully manual cutting for bulk work.
* It was patented October 14, 1919
* Leo J. Wahl originally worked on improving vibrating medical massagers, and the motor technology from that design is what he adapted to create the first clipper.
* Before WAHL’s invention, barbers relied heavily on hand-powered clippers, which required constant squeezing and were slower, especially during busy days in the shop.
* The early WAHL electric clipper was originally designed to be compact and hand-held, making it practical for barbers to use continuously—something that wasn’t common at the time.
* That shift to electric tools didn’t just speed things up—it changed how barbers cut hair, making techniques like blending and fading more efficient and consistent.
* WAHL became one of the first companies to mass-produce clippers specifically for barbers, helping standardise tools across the trade.
* Even today, a lot of WAHL’s core designs still follow the same principle: simple, serviceable, and built to run all day, which is why older models are still kept in shops as backups.
* The introduction of electric clippers also helped barbershops handle higher client volume, which played a role in shaping the fast-paced workflow you see in shops today.
