I’m now an Equitation Science Practitioner! 🥹
I’m really proud to be part of a community that promotes ethical, evidence-based horse training and puts equine welfare at the centre of what we do.
Always learning, always questioning, and hopefully always becoming a better trainer and coach for the horses and riders I get to work with 🫶🏻

I have finally graduated 🎓
About a year and a half ago, I started studying Equitation Science, and I have finally crawled my way to the finish line.
I have learned so much through this course about ethical and evidence-based approaches to horse training and coaching, which is very much what I’m about. I’m a strong believer in continuous education and always looking for ways to learn more and improve my skills (yes, horses are an obsession and quite literally all I can think about 🙄).
The past couple of years have been intense. Between studying full-time and an already busy schedule of training, coaching and massaging ponies, I have quite literally worked myself into the ground at times.
I would love to say I’m planning on slowing down, as so many people advise me to… and, well, I will try - I’ll probably force myself to take a couple of months off studying, but if I’m honest I’ll say I’m already thinking about what’s next.
I am so grateful to every owner who has trusted me with their horses, whether you have supported me for years or only recently. This course involved countless assignments and practical videos to submit, and having access to so many different horses has been invaluable.
Building a career in this industry is hard, and the people who trust you in the early days are the ones who make it possible. If I’m lucky enough to make a long career out of this, you will always be part of the foundation it was built on. 🫶🏻

Very happy to say that Queen Poppy has been sold to her lease rider, Deb 🥹
I have been training this little mare for the past 10 months or so, and I am incredibly proud of just how far she has come. It has taken a huge amount of work, dedication and love to take her from a green and somewhat “broken” little Thoroughbred to a healthy horse now winning dressage tests at Novice level.
Poppy will always be a very special horse to me. She was initially owned by my friend Emma, who tragically passed away. I know Emma probably wouldn’t care too much about the competition results, but I know she would be absolutely thrilled to see just how beautiful, healthy and loved Poppy is today.
Deb has been a student of mine for quite some time, and I’m so pleased to now hand the reins over to her fully and continue helping them grow and develop their partnership together. I truly wish them a very long and happy partnership 🤝
Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this little mare’s journey so far 🫶🏻
So proud of my little team! The ponies for their super behavior and for trying so hard for us, and the riders for their attitude and horsemanship - getting over the little bumps along the way while always showing understanding & respect for their horses ❤️
Thank you , volunteers & sponsors for a great day!
How I teach Queen Poppy to move laterally along the fence - Part 1 🤝
Another smooth day in my life trying to turn this 16 yo OTTB into the dressage queen she was always meant to be 🩰
Working on my TB/Labrador/Dinosaur’s ability to keep his feet where they are for more than one second 🤭

Gorgeous 👑Poppy👑 taking home first place in the Novice 2.2 at last weekend 🥇
The horse world is bloody difficult, but when I see a photo like this, I’m reminded that if 8 year old me could see it, she’d be beside herself knowing that this is her life 20 years later… 🥲
Poppy, I am so proud of you 💝

Redemption after one of my biggest wtf moments 🤦🏻♀️
This is the reality of training and competing - it’s full of hiccups, things don’t always go to plan, but the best we can do is keep our cool, learn from it and try again.
So proud of Poppy for turning it around and producing an improved 2.2 with all four feet staying in the arena 🥇
And of my rider .emjay for her two wins today!! 🥇🥇
Thank you to the whole team at for a great day, and to my dressage coach for the support, as always!

Beautiful Poppy last weekend in Southport 💗
It certainly isn’t easy every day (🫠), but I’m so proud of this mare and how much she has improved the past year. She earned some solid scores in both of her Novice tests, as well as a 3rd place in Novice 2.2 🥉
A huge thank you to for a great day, and to all the volunteers and sponsors for making it happen.
Big thanks also to everyone involved with this little pocket rocket, making sure she’s healthy, happy and well cared for 🫶🏻
