I thought I’d do a little life update so I can start getting organised for the next few months.

If you can imagine…… finding my feet as a solo mum has been a massive adjustment. I was so lucky to have a husband that was an amazing dad, and after 23 years of parenting together I’m now doing it on my own. Zayne’s only 13, so I still feel like I really need to be present as much as I can.

At the moment I’m working Monday to Thursday. I can do super early appointments Friday, but the salon is fully booked so I won’t be working past 9am.

I’m now taking appointments right up to Christmas, so please start booking everything in asap so you don’t miss out.

Im going to go back to answering all my messages at once and will dedicate time on Sundays to make all my appointments. I will set my instant reply to let you know when making a booking request.

First offical day back 🥳🥳🥳 can’t say it was successful cause I ran 45 mins late for my last clients of the day 🫣😅

BUT look what I created by doing that 🙌 helps when my clients such a photogenic babe 💁‍♀️

I’m now back in the salon Monday to Thursday 8:30 - 4ish x

This break has been amazing!! I have reset my nervous system and am ready to keep kicking goals 🙌🙌

Just a little update…. I’ve decided to see out my April appointments and then take some more time out. This means I won’t be taking any further appointments for the moment.

I’m 10 weeks into my loss of Scott, and let me tell you it’s been the biggest emotional roller coaster of my life.

Coming back to work for the past 7 weeks has been really good for me, but I’ve hit a point where I’m feeling unmotivated. I’m finding things that are normally easy a real task.

I have let the girls know and they’re happy to help with my clients. I’m not sure how long it will be, but I’ll definitely be back. I absolutely love what I do, but I want to be better mentally before I commit to taking more appointments.

I’m ok. I’m doing the best I can. Life just feels different and I need to find the me that isn’t Scotts wife. I’ll keep you guys updated and share with you as I go.

We always had big plans for our future and i’d really like to focus on that for a while.
