I was pregnant at 16 and moved to Australia with my husband, 2-year-old son, 3 suitcases and a few grand to get us started.

Never in a million years did I think I’d travel the world, have four sons, end up owning multiple salons and a marketing agency that helps other salons grow.

But on my way to getting here I tried alllll the things….

I studied nails, makeup (yes even my own makeup range), lashes, tanning and beauty therapy…

I also studied business admin and digital marketing and worked for one of Australia’s top banks in risk and compliance (which means I understand numbers, systems, and where businesses quietly bleed money)..

I did all this before finally landing in hair!
(fun fact.. I’m a fully qualified hairdresser although I do sh*t haircuts..haha!)

Now.. I’m in my salons every day.
Not “coach life” real life.

And here’s the part I don’t talk about…enough….

I’ve rebuilt two high-end salons from around 35% rebooking to a consistent 85%.

I built every single system myself… and I mean everything.

From consultations and rebooking, to ads, to staff processes, to the most ridiculous level of detail (yes, even toilet paper usage). It sounds insane… but it works.

I’ve also had to rebuild my team three times in 2 years, so trust me, I get the frustration 🙃🙃🙃

I used to pay for an ads agency and felt ripped off by the lack of support and clarity.

I paid for salon coaching and got fed a whole lot of fluff with zero practical tools, which meant I still had to create everything myself.

Eventually, I threw it in the too-hard basket.

So I did what I always do. I built my own systems and full scale infrastructure 💪 I bought an agency to bypass the hard part, rebuilt it, and turned it into a full-scale salon marketing agency.

One of my old clients recently came back and said, “omg Milly… you’ve totally levelled this up to next level.” Damn right I did 😎
