There’s more to the CS than you might realise.

When I created the COSMETII identity, I wanted the brand to have an identity of its own, while still carrying a little piece of me within it.

The C represents COSMETII, but it’s also the first letter of my name almost like my own subtle signature within the brand.

The S represents Skin, where COSMETII began. But there was another reason I fell in love with the shape of this particular S. Its curves and pointed details reminded me of a bow and arrow a subtle connection to the archer, the symbol of Sagittarius, my star sign.

It wasn’t something I wanted to make obvious. It was simply another little piece of me hidden within the identity.

So when the C and S came together, it felt like everything connected COSMETII, Skin, and me.

And as COSMETII grows beyond skincare into SKIN • BEAUTY • RITUAL, the monogram can grow with it.

I’ve always loved details that hold more than one meaning. Nothing about this brand was chosen just because it looked beautiful there’s a story behind every detail.

I didn’t create COSMETII because the world needed more skincare.

I created it because I knew exactly what I wanted skincare to be.

After struggling with my own skin and spending years working with women in the beauty industry, I wanted formulas that could deliver results while still respecting the skin and products that worked alongside the beauty treatments my clients were investing in.

That meant being intentional about everything: oil-free formulas where appropriate, gentler options for sensitive skin, considered active levels, and products designed to work together rather than a bathroom full of random products that don’t.

COSMETII actually started with just six products, originally focused heavily around breakouts and problematic skin. Nearly four years later, it has grown into 14+ products designed to support different skin concerns, stages and changes.

And I cared just as much about how it felt as how it performed.

I wanted to bring some of the luxury back to skincare black packaging, rose-gold details and products beautiful enough to leave sitting on your bathroom bench while still keeping the range accessible.

There was a reason behind every little decision.

And now I finally get to start showing you all of them. 🤎

This branding shoot has been in the making for almost 12 months. It’s something I’ve always dreamed of doing for my business, and seeing it all come together was such a rewarding experience.

Beauty has always been about more than makeup or skincare to me. It’s about confidence, self-expression and creating something that reflects who you are and I wanted this shoot to capture exactly that.

Every detail from the branding and outfits to the content we created was planned with intention to reflect the direction Carrie Lee Artistry & Academy and Cosmetii Skin are growing into.
