The 2026 Aveda Artist Retreat brought our salon network together in beautiful Byron Bay for three unforgettable days of creativity, connection, education and inspiration.

From learning alongside some of the industry’s best, to sharing ideas, celebrating our community and creating together, this retreat was a reminder of what makes the Aveda network so special.

A wonderful morning at Aveda Australia HQ, bringing together our salon network over breakfast for an inspiring live cutting demonstration with the incredibly talented Traci Sakosits (Traci Sakosits ).

With years of industry experience and a wealth of technical knowledge, Traci shared her expert approach to precision cutting, creative techniques, and the artistry behind every look. It was an inspiring session filled with education, connection, and fresh ideas that our salon community can take back behind the chair.
