Let’s talk about the MVP of skincare serums ⭐️
Beneficial for so many skin concerns and the best anti ageing product out there.

It travels to the Dermis (the living layers of your skin) and works to increase your cellular turnover and production which begins slowing down in our 20s - rude, right?
This increases collagen production for a plumping effect and also refines the epidermis (surface layers) creating a smooth, plump and clear complexion.

Retinol also works wonders for breakouts, scarring and as part of a home routine when treating pigmentation or just trying to improve or normalise skin in general. Basically beneficial to almost everyone! (Just not for our pregnant or breastfeeding Mumma’s)

Beware though that Vitamin A/Retinol can be marketed so misleadingly. A lot of products will contain Retinyl Palmitate as a less effective substitute or have such a low dose sitting in a cream that just doesn’t allow the Retinol to travel to the dermis and is wasted on the surface of the skin.
