I have been a massage therapist for over 25 years. I then went through to do my sports Massage and injury management certificate in 1995.

It all started in 1994 when i left school and i studied a certificate in Therapeutic Massage, the course only went for 16 weeks. After i finished my study i found work in a Massage Clinic in the City, this was a huge eye opener for me, as i had never worked with such different personalities. It was great though as i gained so much valuable experience. i worked at Brisbane Massage Therapy Center for 5 years. When i left in 2001, i decided to give myself a break from the Massage industry and worked in various differing occupations. However massage was always my passion. i decided to go back and in 2010 and complete my Diploma in Remedial Massage through the Australian Institute of Applied Sciences. I started a Mobile Massage Business, so i could work around my children. in that time i worked in different locations and Clinical settings, I've worked with Acupuncturist, Chiropractors and Physio's. With all the experience i have gained over the years, i have now decided to open my own little clinic. i am very excited to be working in my chosen career, and have the opportunity to share my knowledge with everyone.

🍋‍🟩🍹 Margies on the Mat! 🍹🍋‍🟩

What a night! 💃✨

We had SO much fun at Margies on the Mat tonight at Made H.C

Mat Pilates, margarita vibes, lots of laughter, dancing, games, spicy little holds and pulses… and plenty of fun along the way! 😂🔥

It wasn’t about taking Pilates too seriously tonight — it was about moving, connecting, laughing and enjoying ourselves. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came along and got into the spirit of it! You ladies absolutely brought the energy! 🍹💃🧘‍♀️

Pilates + friends + fun = the perfect Friday night! 🥰

A healing and nurturing massage for my 15-year-old autistic son is a gift for him, but it’s also a gift for me. ❤️

Sometimes I feel a disconnect between us, and it can be hard to get him to leave the house, especially during school holidays.

My husband always reminds me that he’s a teenager, and most teenagers don’t want to go out with their parents on the weekend. 😂

And I know he’s right.

At least Charlie goes to school all week, and we can get him out on Saturdays for his exercise physiology.

But during the school holidays, he loves being at home, on his tech, doing what he loves and being in his own little world.

So moments like this are really precious to me.

Being able to give him a healing, nurturing massage gives me a chance to reconnect with my son, without asking anything from him.

Just some quiet time together, some nurturing touch and a little bit of connection.

Sometimes I think us mums just crave those little moments where we can still feel close to our kids, even as they grow into teenagers.

And for me, this is one of those moments.

A little nurture for my boy… and a little nurture for his mumma too. ❤️

My daily Mat Pilates practice is my reminder to slow down, be present, have patience and stay connected to my body.

My goals have changed over the years, just as my body has changed.
Perimenopause has changed my body shape, and I’ve had to learn to embrace those changes rather than fight against them.

But what hasn’t changed is my ability to move with strength, control, stability and mobility.
Pilates reminds me that movement isn’t about chasing the body I had years ago. It’s about appreciating the body I have today and continuing to build strength, confidence and connection within it.

I don’t need to move perfectly.
I just need to keep moving. 🤍

Glenda had a headache at the beginning of her reformer class yesterday, and by the end of the class it was gone and she felt relaxed 😃
She went home with heaps of energy and was able to run around like a mad dog 😁🙌🏽

Whoop whoop!! You just never know how exercise can help your moods, energy levels and even headaches.

Glenda knows her body and is a regular at pilates, she knew that while being present in her body, moving with control and length she could release muscle tension, improve blood flow, and change how her nervous system processes pain.

Intentional exercises like Pilates can help to relax tight muscles, trigger endorphins promoting a natural painkiller and improves posture by correcting neck alignment.

And the end result... no headache 😃
