So here we are in lockdown once again. We don't often post on Facebook but this time I wanted to remind all of our lovely clients to keep their chin up. As hairdressers we are naturally hearing lots of updates from our salon community, and whilst we know many people are tired of all the restrictions placed on us throughout this pandemic and many people are feeling very lonely we want you all to know...OUR DOORS ARE CLOSED BUT OUR HEARTS ARE OPEN, we are thinking of and feeling for you all. We are incredibly lucky to be a part of such an incredible community, such a huge number of our clientelle is now vaccinated those that aren't do their bit by abiding by all the rules, and so many of you do these things not for yourselves but because you want to protect your neighbours, we know our doors will be open again soon because we know and love our community.

Hello to all our lovely customers,

we are aware that many of you have been avoiding mirrors and wondering when you can get your hair done, or otherwise pondering whether or not to pick up those scissors yourself. Well we've been thinking about you too, we're missing our little salon and our customers. The good news is that the numbers for COVID 19 are currently looking good! We know there's still a way to go, and we ask you all to stay home just a little longer. But if our numbers continue to improve and we look like we're beating this thing, then we plan to come back on the 1st of May!! This is ofcourse subject to change, if we all do the right thing and numbers come down quickly we may open a little earlier if the numbers don't de-escalate it might be a bit longer. We are accepting bookings from the 1st of May, and shall keep you updated of any changes. I will send a text message to all of you in our computer system when the date looks much firmer.

Dear customer, today I looked into sending a bulk text message to all of our clients, not so much now but we definitely want you all to know when we reopen. While looking into this i found out that we have 1100 regular customers in our system, that doesn't include walkins. Please remember that when you go to a hairdresser they have been exposed to a thousand other people and all the germs they carry. We don't close our doors because we want a holiday we close our doors for your safety. (And we're a small salon)

To all our valued customers, after much agonizing we have made the decision that the COVID 19 pandemic has left us incapable of doing our job safely. As of Thursday the 26th of March we shall be closing our doors.

If you have an appointment with us in the next few weeks we shall endeavour to contact you over the coming days.

We hope that you can understand our decision to keep you, ourselves, our families and mostly our elderly clientele safe. We know many of you will be disappointed but please remember, ITS ONLY HAIR, your couch won't mind what you look like for a few weeks.

THE GOOD NEWS is we shall be back!! At the first opportunity to return to work safely we shall be back and we plan to come back at full capacity. Peta, Cassie and Sandy are all willing to put in the hard yards work some extra hours and get you looking your best. Please remember no matter how long your hair, no matter how grey you're looking we can fix all that easily!! (Please no one put a black box colour in their hair)

The best way you can HELP SMALL BUSINESS at the moment, is by making sure you're around when all this is over. Please go home, curl up your feet, get all wild and wooly, we look forward to seeing you all safe and healthy in the future.
