Important Update – Queensland Health Regulations

Please Read Before Your Next Appointment

Queensland Health has recently introduced new regulations that affect every cosmetic clinic in the state.
At Rachel’s Cosmetics, patient safety has always been—and will continue to be—our top priority, so we are making the required changes to remain fully compliant.

What this means for you:
• We are now working in partnership with a prescribing doctor as required by Queensland Health.
• This change comes with an additional fee to cover the doctor’s medical oversight and scripting requirements.
• This fee is separate from our usual treatment charges and will be added to your appointment cost.
• Our online booking system has been updated and now has two categories: New Patients and Existing Patients. Please read the descriptions carefully to book the correct appointment.
• Under current Queensland Health legislation, we can no longer advertise treatment prices online.

I know these changes may take some getting used to. They are being implemented across the entire state, and unfortunately, they have already placed significant strain on small clinics, with some having to close.
