The Terrace has been offering the ultimate in luxury hair and beauty services for more than 40 years. Opened in 1979 by former owners Michael Digney and Robin Atkins, The Terrace is located in a beautiful Victorian building, in George St, Launceston. The Terrace's current owner and creative director Kim Cooley leads a team of dedicated and passionate stylists who between them have a combined experience of more than 60 years. They are committed to exceptional customer service and creating the perfect look for every client; ensuring every guest leaves the salon feeling pampered and looking great. The salon interior has a sophisticated feel and has been specially designed to combine a modern style with the unique traditional Victorian architecture of the exterior. The business prides itself on providing a service to meet everyone’s needs. The Terrace education program is a big focus for the business to ensure that all staff receive the latest training across all aspects of the industry, including new techniques in cuts and colour, product knowledge, and photo shoots. The Terrace opening hours are from 9:00am to 5:30pm Tuesday to Friday and 9:00am to 4:30pm on Saturday. However, appointments can be made after 5:30pm on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
