❤️🔥 HEAT OF THE MOMENT ❤️🔥
Expression isn’t always pretty.
Sometimes it’s loud.
Sometimes it’s impulsive.
Sometimes it burns.
For Lashpress In The Flesh, I created a flame-inspired lash piece exploring the moments where emotion takes control and instinct speaks louder than reason.
Fire became the perfect visual language. Unpredictable, consuming and impossible to ignore.
Thank you to LASHPRESSMAG | 1st Brows & Lash Artistry Editorial Magazine for giving me the opportunity to showcase my work amongst such incredible talent.
A weekend I’ll be thinking about for a long time. 🖤🔥

A public service announcement:
Blue lashes are criminally underrated. 💙
We slayed Neenah’s lashes for .australia with a dreamy blend of Dark Navy and Starlight, creating dimension, depth and a little unexpected sparkle.
Because sometimes “natural but make it interesting” is the assignment.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign to try colour lashes, this is it. 💙✨

Let’s ruffle some feathers…
🚩 If your lash extensions look like THIS… find a new lash artist!
The lash industry has normalised bad lash work for WAY too long, and clients are paying the price for it.
If your lash extensions are:
🚩 painful
🚩 heavy
🚩 glued together
🚩 twisting your natural lashes
🚩 causing breakage or premature fallout
🚩 overloaded with weight or adhesive
…that is NOT normal.
Not all lash extensions are created equal, and bad application can cause REAL damage to your natural lashes.
Signs of poor lash work:
• Excessively chunky/heavy extensions
• Multiple natural lashes glued together (“stickies”)
• Poor isolation
• Twisted or collapsing lashes
• Gaps from fallout after only a few days
• Pain, pinching or tightness
• Extensions attached to the skin
• Unsafe lash lengths or weights that natural lashes cannot safely support
• Extremely long/heavy sets causing strain, twisting or premature lash loss
• Natural lashes snapping, thinning or being ripped out
Just because a lash artist CAN apply dramatic lengths doesn’t mean they SHOULD.
Healthy lash application is about balance. Your natural lash strength, diameter, density and growth cycle all matter.
A good lash artist prioritises:
✨ lash health
✨ safe isolation
✨ appropriate weight + length selection
✨ correct styling
✨ retention
✨ education
✨ ongoing training
Please stop normalising damaging lash work.
And to lash artists:
If your work looks like this, fix it!

new salon vibes… but really, new alignment.
for the longest time I felt like I had to fit into the beauty industry. Soft, pink, overly polished… and it just never felt like me.
so I stopped trying to fit in.
this space is moodier. darker. a little more me.
and the work I create here feels different too.
turns out when your environment aligns… everything else does as well 🖤
