I’ve experienced every version of the salon, from working full time by myself and having a team of six and not doing lashes myself … and everything in between and I feel that I’ve achieved and conquered all I set out to do in this space.

I started this business at a time when my biggest priority was creating a career that could work around my kids, they were only 6&7 🥹 and the salon gave me the flexibility to be there for school drop-offs, pick-ups and all the important moments in between.
I’ll always be incredibly grateful and proud that I was able to create that life for my family.

For a long time, I’ve tried to run the salon while also growing the education and online side of my business. I’ve finally accepted that I can’t do it all. Choosing between the salon and the training side has been incredibly difficult and, honestly, heartbreaking.

Over the years, my career has grown and evolved into so much more than what I originally started and there are now so many other paths within the beauty industry that feel like a natural extension of everything I’ve already built. I’m ready to give those opportunities my full focus, put my energy into growing that side of my career and see where it can take me ❤️🩷🧡

Has anyone ever known me to be lost for words? Because watching this back… apparently it can happen.

There are so many things about closing this salon that make me sad, proud, excited and heartbroken all at once. But the thing getting me the most is watching the bond between Teaghan and I.

Me, barely able to get my words out… and her just standing beside me, supporting me like an absolute boss.

Painting my home office pink! Can you believe we’ve been in this house for 10 months and there hasn’t been a single pink wall yet?

This room gets lots of natural light, and I really just want my own Barbie dream house at home—except it’s a Barbie dream room! I wanted something quite light because I’m planning to add plenty of colour through the curtains, rug, lighting, office chair and desk.

This is after two coats. What do you think? Is it too light? Is it pulling too cool? Should I keep it like this or go one shade darker?

Today is the day I make a start on Pink-ifying my home office 🙌🏼🩷🧡
