Have you ever noticed your lash extensions looking singed or loosing its curl and becoming straight?

There are many ways you can damage your lash extensions by heat, some are:
🔥 Hair straighteners/curlers
🔥 Hair dryers
🔥 lighters (I have seen this one often when smokers light ci******es while in your mouth)
🔥 Saunas
🔥 Camp fires
🔥 Getting to close to the cook top or opening ovens

This is your reminder to be extra careful around heat and fires! Most Lash extensions used by techs these days are made from synthetic materials which are flammable (Yes I know, us girls do crazy things for beauty) but like all things, as long as you are aware and safe then you have nothing to worry about 🤎

Don’t be scared to clean your lashes!✨
It is a fundamental part of the aftercare and retention of your lashes. It’s a must! We naturally collect oils, make up, sweat, dust and sleep in our lashes and especially when we have lash extensions!

Having a dirty lash line or lashes can cause issues such as:
- Lash loss and Poor retention
- Sore and irritated eyes
- Increase chances of lash mites
- Flaking dry eyelids
- Infections

✨How to care for your lashes:
- avoid oily products near your eyes
- Clean at least every other day, clean daily if you wear make up, cry or workout
- Brush every morning to keep fluffy
- Don’t sleep face down, use a silk pillow if possible
- No picking and pulling! Message me for safe removal

Seasonal Changes 🍂🍁

Shedding is a normal part of our lash cycles losing 2-5 natural lashes daily with new lashes growing in their place.
During season changes when the weather changes drastically (which it has within the last week) your lashes may shed a bit faster than normal! Remember to book those refills in and reschedule them earlier if you think you’re having a increase in shedding 🤎
Don’t worry! It shouldn’t last too long x
