I think one of the biggest things I’m learning already is that I can feel all of these things at once. 🤍

Excited, nervous, emotional, guilty, lost, bittersweet… and still so incredibly grateful.

Becoming a mum doesn’t mean I suddenly stop being me, or stop caring about the things and people I’ve always loved. My career will still matter to me. My relationship will still matter to me. And my two pooches will absolutely still be my babies. 🐾

I know they’re going to be the best big brother and sister, and I can’t wait to watch them meet their little brother and figure out their new role in our family.

I think there’s so much pressure to feel nothing but pure happiness when you’re expecting a baby, but the reality is that such a huge life change can bring a lot of different emotions with it.

And I’m learning that none of those feelings make me any less excited, grateful or ready to meet our little boy. 🤍

Lately, I’ve been really intentional about the little things that make me feel my best 🤍

Moving my body, nourishing myself, getting outside and making time for the things that make me happy.

Nothing complicated, just finding a routine that feels good, keeping the little promises I make to myself, and enjoying this season of life ✨
