A cyclone some sun on my skin morning swims in the rain unwashed hair big walks and lots of laughter 😆

Family holidays really do hit different when you slow down enough to notice the little things early mornings shared coffees our adult kids just being kids Orlando living his best life with card games gym sessions and deep belly laughs and those quiet pauses where you realise how lucky you are ☺️🫶🏻

This trip reminded me how much I love being present not rushing not planning just soaking it all in. Big laughs small talks deep chats and my favourite minimal device time how good does that feel

What stood out most was the human connection real conversations eye contact being fully there. It’s such a reminder of why connection sits at the heart of everything I do, when we see people, hug them, trust builds confidence grows and everything flows more naturally in life and in business - especially on the salon floor.

I’m easing into 2026 slowly 🐌

Well… that was a colourful year to say the least! 🫣

So many personalities crossed my path, some brought light, some brought lessons , but every single one taught me something I needed to learn.

Salon Rose looks different now.
It’s back to basics.
Back to what really matters.

My clients have been my constant through it all. You’ve supported me, encouraged me to put myself first, adapted to the changes, and walked this journey right beside me. We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, and honestly… you’re the reason I kept going.🫶🏻

This year I turned 50🫣
It wasn’t at all how I imagined it would be — but it was the only way I could show up, and in the end, it was perfect exactly as it was.

Now it’s time for a break.
A proper one.
Time to rest, reset, and recharge. 🏖️

I might pop up in my stories here and there because I do love it 😂 but for now, thank you 🙏🏻 to every Salon Rose client who keeps reminding me that as long as I can do your hair, everyone’s happy😂

This is 50 🥳 and I’m happy. A new kind of happy.

It’s not at all where I imagined I’d be, but maybe this is exactly where I’m meant to be right now.

For as long as I can remember, my vision was clear: I was going to live an extraordinary life.
A life of creating change through my business, building something that became a household name — something that made people feel seen and beautiful.

I always wanted to lead with greatness, to connect deeply, to inspire others — because building relationships are what light me up the most ☺️

But somewhere along the way, a few misaligned relationships🥴 and wrong turns led me off course 🤦🏼‍♀️
And yet, through it all, I’ve discovered a new kind of happy.

I’ve played many roles over these 50 years, but the best role yet… is just being me -
Rose.
The sun-loving ☀️ beach bum 🏖️ tan-obsessed 👱🏽‍♀️love-filled, dancing queen 💃🏼

As I step into the next 50, I want to live them well —
with peace, with calmness, with kindness, and with so much fun and most importantly some deep belly laughs that light up my soul! 💗

I won’t compromise on what I believe in.
I won’t let anyone overshadow my light.
I’m going to be fully, unapologetically me.
And that — I absolutely love. 🌞✨💖
