We love a good skincare routine, but your 10 step Korean skincare routine might not be doing your brow tattoos any favours. 👀

Glass skin, skin cycling, retinol, Vitamin A, AHAs, BHAs, exfoliating toners... they’re having their moment, but not all of them play nicely with cosmetic tattooing.

Strong active ingredients can leave your skin irritated, sensitised and more reactive, which can make tattooing more difficult and healing less predictable.

And yes, what you’re putting on your skin before your appointment matters just as much as your aftercare.

Our rule? Pause retinol and strong exfoliating actives at least 2 weeks before your appointment. We also recommend avoiding them directly over your brow tattoos long term, as they may contribute to premature fading and affect how well your results last.

The softest lip blush you ever did see 🤎
She already loved her natural lip colour, but the outer corners were noticeably lighter.

So we added a super sheer wash of colour to even everything out without changing her natural tone.

Sometimes less really is more.

Your touch up isn’t an optional extra. It’s part of the process 🤎

Cosmetic tattooing is done in two stages for a reason.

Your first session is where we create the shape, build the colour and lay the foundation. Then your skin takes over.

As your brows or lips heal, some areas may retain more pigment than others. Some may heal lighter, softer or a little patchy. That’s completely normal and every skin heals differently.

Your touch up is where we get to see exactly how YOUR skin has held the pigment and make any adjustments needed.

We can reinforce areas that healed lighter, refine the shape, add more definition or adjust the colour if needed.

Skipping it can mean walking around with a result that was never actually finished.

First session = the foundation
Touch up = the finishing work
