This is always so satisfying!

Soapmaking isn't something you're born good at. It's a craft that takes practice. Years of practice. My early soaps were good, but they're so much better now because I kept learning the science behind it and continued testing. If I was starting again, I'd do way more of that before I started selling. What's a skill you've had to practise to get good at?

🌼 MARKET SEASON! 🌼
Just like that it is mid September, which means soap making for the busy end of year market season is well and truly here!
I would typically be further ahead in my prep but unfortunately, for the last 6 weeks, I've been battling a nasty, little kidney stone which has landed me in emergency twice and refuses to come out! 🫩 It's also made committing to local markets difficult at the moment. (Send me all you sure fire ways to shift this little guy so I can be well and present for all my markets, pretty please! I feel like I've tried everything!)
I will let you know all of my market dates for the coming months soon, but in the meantime the online soap is always open.
