Please give Kim a follow for her advocacy in the area of sepsis, which she survived 9 years ago. Boric acid has been the missing part of the puzzle in stopping her UTI’s. Just one a month. It could be worth trying if you can relate.

Dear friends, due to the remarkable results Kim Smith has had using boric acid to help manage her UTI’s, we encourage you to try using a boric acid suppository if you too struggle with them. Even one a month might be enough.

We have always known that boric acid helps to balance the pH. Plus we suspected that it would help to reduce the risk of getting a UTI because it treats the bacteria in the va**na known for being responsible for UTI’s.

It also reduces thrush if you are taking antibiotics for any reason. Boric acid works widely to promote va**nal health. It’s definitely worth trying.

It's absolutely shameful that all doctors don't have an education on menopause during medical school. It's such a simple topic in terms of a hormone deficiency … just like insulin deficiency or thyroid hormone deficiency.

Primary care doctors should definitely know all the details about menopause. And they should all be helping each woman to manage her menopause her way.

Let’s clear up one of the biggest myths in women’s health👇🏼

For more than 20 years, women have been told that HRT causes breast cancer.

If you’ve avoided it out of fear, that fear was understandable. But you weren’t told the whole story.

Much of that fear stems from the 2002 Women’s Health Initiative (WHI) study—a study whose findings were widely misinterpreted, overgeneralized, and amplified by the media.

Here’s what almost no one tells you:

• The WHI was not designed as a breast cancer trial. It was designed to study cardiovascular outcomes.
• The average participant was 63 years old—much older than when women typically begin hormone therapy.
• It studied conjugated equine estrogen (Premarin) and a synthetic progestin (MPA), not the body-identical estradiol and micronized progesterone many women use today.
• The results were generalized to women of every age and every type of hormone therapy, despite important differences in age, timing, hormone formulation, dose, and route of administration.
• Later analyses showed a much more nuanced picture, especially for women who start hormone therapy closer to menopause.

Because of how the WHI was interpreted, an entire generation of women missed out on the potential benefits of hormone therapy.

I’m not here to convince every woman to take hormones. I’m here to make sure women have accurate information so they can make informed decisions with their healthcare provider.
