Had a wonderful night watching a lovely cabaret show hosted by the incredible and doing the makeup for and at !

Visited student exhibition grand opening and had a brilliant time!

I got the chance to meet new people and catch up with others I've met before while also having a gorgeous opportunity to study, enjoy and the graduation collections!

I had the lovely chance to teach a class at in "professional makeup basics" today in the full drags! I always love an opportunity to tie in my passions in everyday life and exposing designers to communication techniques with makeup artists and hair stylist is a brilliant way to convey it!

Getting the opportunity to see the Triennial at the was such a wonderful, once in a lifetime opportunity, I found myself in awe of every exhibit, but specifically the section with took my breath away. I spent days after visiting constantly revisiting the photos, just in awe of the textiles and design! I also spent a lot of time in the 1920s section studying the beading and embroidery, the level of detail is astonishing!

I can't stress enough how rewarding it's been playing around with fashion and photoshoots again these past few weeks, I've missed it, I've missed all of you! Going forward I'm hoping to post a lot more content about my life and goings on with studying fashion!

I honestly never thought I'd get the opportunity I have studying a BACHELOR'S! Growing up I was never what you would consider academically smart, but as I've embraced the arts, myself and and what I'm passionate about, they've welcomed me with open arms, given me a supporting hand and shown me the ways I can explore who I am and what I can do!

I love the opportunity and friends that has given me, and it's only just the beginning!

The journey of self, let alone self discovery is a long one. Take your time, see the parts of yourself you didn't know existed and spend time getting to know them.

You are a bounty, plentiful, with depths yet to be explored. Hearken to them when your weary and hold them tight to the bosom of your hearts content.

Listen and learn because in your journey and discovery of yourself, you can teach others.

But most of all be yourself! However weird, wonderful and strange you are, your the best at being you!

Finding your worth can often result in you bending over backwards for people. But breaking your back against the rocks just to validate yourself to others isn't the answer.

The answer is found in the value you place on yourself. Do you value art? Do you value baking? What is the worth you place on these things?

Question your goals, set them, then achieve them. Do not live your life for the eyes of others, but do live your life for you!

As a person I've often spent time running from the sense of self most of us strive for. It's very scary to be yourself!

But it is rewarding. And it is truthful. To face the unknown willingly and welcoming it with openness!

The best wisdom I could impart as part of my "self awareness" campaign is this.

Embrace yourself, who you are. It makes you powerful.

In doing my bachelor's degree, we've been doing a workshop called body, and this piece is my answer to the question "what is body to you?"

Body to me is mental health, worn like a shield against the world! I painted a structural jacket to represent my rigidity I use as a defense, the white paint represents my mental health, wild, untamed and stormy.

I may not always be the self you see but one of three!

It also represents the fact that as a neurodivergent person, I am constantly masking these factors of myself, creating almost the self at home, the self I show the world and the self I see in myself!

Lately as I've taken a short break to focus on work/life/makeup balance, I've found myself delving more into darker, edgier mediums and exploring my creative side, as most of you would also see in my regular mua content as well! This has really given me a chance to explore, investigate and interact with things in new ways that I would have never expected!

Also as I step into the role of student once more with next year, I've been exploring entire concepts rather than solely looking at the "face and hair" aspects that makeup focuses on and entertaining the fashion design aspects as well as lighting and photography!
