September was a big month for CitiHair 🤍
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our SXHIBITION stand, explored our hair collection and shared their hair journey with me.

A letter from an INMATE became a mirror for me.
I finally recognised my saviour complex—the need to rescue, fix and carry others, often while silently carrying so much pain of my own.
I carried heartbreak, disappointment, guilt and wounds I rarely spoke about. I kept saving others while slowly losing myself.
But I have changed.
Today, I surrender the need to save everyone. I release what was never mine to carry.
I have survived the pain. Now, I choose me.
I will choose me, over and over. Honestly I would not want to even call health care workers if someone is sick. I AM TOO BUSY LOOKING AFTER ME.

I’m still recovering from what has been an incredibly exhausting but meaningful few days. I’m only just starting to feel a little better, and there is honestly so much more I want to share about my experience — the good, the challenges, the lessons and everything that happened behind the scenes.
For now, I especially want to say thank you to Aubrey and Delilah. From the very beginning, your moral support, encouragement and belief in the idea meant more to me than you probably realise. ❤️
Sometimes simply having people who believe in your vision gives you the strength to keep going when things become overwhelming.
