My beautiful mother of the bride was a little nervous about having her makeup done as she doesn’t usually wear much and was worried about it feeling heavy, looking cakey or settling into her fine lines.

The brief was light, fresh and natural, with nothing too heavy on the eyes. I even managed to talk her into a soft set of natural lashes to finish everything off.

I think the smile at the end says it all. Safe to say we nailed the brief, and I even got a little thank you hug afterwards.

It’s mornings like this that make all those 3am alarms completely worth it.
