Groundbreaking number seven at New Epping, and the gold shovels came out again. Our Senior Financial Analyst, Johan Viljoen, made the most of his moment.
He had good company, too. For the first time, the business owners who’ll soon work from 28 Greengate joined our team and partners on site. Places come alive through the people in them, and it was great to have ours there from the very first dig.
Once complete, 28 Greengate will deliver around 6,800sqm of office suites across five levels with ground-floor amenity, part of the broader Greengate Work Precinct.
New Epping continues to evolve into a vibrant mixed-use precinct, built as a place to work, stay, learn, and connect.

September was Volunteer Month at Riverlee, hosted by our Community Impact Committee 🌻
Over four weeks our team swapped desks for aprons, paddles and garden gloves. We packed 402 meals, cleared rubbish from the Yarra, regenerated veggie beds, and deep cleaned a home for families with children in hospital.
Caring for people and place shapes every project. Volunteer Month gave us the chance to step away and spend time with communities and each other, a reminder of how good it feels to come together and give back.

1 Hotel & Homes Melbourne has been named Development of the Year — Urban Regeneration at The Urban Developer awards.
For almost 50 years this part of Melbourne’s riverfront was dormant. A heritage goods shed, a gap in the city’s edge.
Now, it’s home to Australia’s first 1 Hotels and the city’s first hotel-branded residences 1 Homes Melbourne, alongside Seafarers Rest Park.
This one will stay close to our hearts for a long time. The challenges, the camaraderie, the people, the drive to deliver something special for Melbourne.
